Commercial Roofing Systems
We specialize in the latest materials and commercial roofing types and product. Here are some details on our most efficient and quality product offerings:
TPO & PVC
White is the new green! Up to 40 percent of a typical commercial building’s impervious area is composed of roof area. Thermoplastics are a step towards an earth-friendly building or facility. White materials reflect the sun’s radiant heat and may have a high thermal remittance value. With more than two decades of thermoplastic experience, Turner Roofing installs more than 200,000 square feet of thermoplastic roof systems each year.
Turner Roofing has installed EPDM fore more than 33 years. EPDM has a great track record, and it can endure almost anything that nature can throw at it – from blazing hot sun to frigid cold winter. Its properties of resilience, tensile strength, elongation, resistance to ozone, ultraviolet light and ponding make it an excellent, strong roofing material. EPDM roofs can be installed by using three different methods.
Mod Bit & BUR
We offer traditional multi-ply BUR (Built-Up Roofing) roof systems. As one of the oldest low-slope roof systems, it’s still applied to commercial roofs today.
Modified Bitumen is also a great commercial roofing choice. The combination of the familiarity and dependability of traditional BUR with the addition of polymer modification works well on many different commercial projects. Modified systems are highly tear-resistant, which makes them ideal for heavy traffic.
There are times when one of our commercial clients may need a new roof. However, sometimes a coating could help enhance your current roof system. Roof coatings can be applied to EPDM, metal, modified bitumen and BUR roofs. Coatings fills in cracks and seal porous mortar and masonry. They will expand and contract with metal panels while providing weatherproofing for your roof. Turner Roofing offers a variety of coatings for your roofing needs.
In older metal roofs, problems can occur that are caused by the movement and subsequent loosening of the roof system and fasteners. Seam separations, loose flashings and rusting metal panels can lead to roof failure, if you are not proactive. Turner Roofing has options for restoring metal roofs, without having to complete a total roof replacement. EPDM membrane or TPO membranes installed as topcoats are possible solutions.
